How it works
The healthy weight range covers a BMI from 18.5 to 24.9 at your height. This is the range the WHO uses for adults.
The classic formulas start at a base weight for 152 cm (5 feet) and add a fixed amount for every inch above. Each has a female and a male version. They were made to dose medicine, not as personal goals, so they differ from each other.

The WHO is the World Health Organization, part of the United Nations. Its BMI groups for adults are used around the world.
Is there one perfect weight?

Why do the formulas give different results?
They come from different decades and were made for different uses. That is why we show the healthy range first.
Does my age change the result?
Not in these formulas. They only use height and the formula version.
